Kanban board widget questions

Postby AlmondNut » Tue Feb 05, 2019 12:47 am

I'm new to using Polarion for agile. Interested in using the Kanban board widget, but there seem to be some limitations:

1. The widget doesn't support rows to categorize work. For example, in Jira, one can create a separate "Expedite" row to track work that moves across the board independently than other cards. These rows are just groupings of work, created by keying off field(s) in User Stories or Tasks.

2. There is no way to collapse cards. In Jira, for example one can collapse the entire "Expedite" row and hide all the cards. This is a nice feature because without being able to collapse rows and cards, you have to scroll and scroll to find what you're looking for.

3. There is no way to limit work in progress by individual column, only the entire board. The same limit applies to all columns in the board. In practice, the WIP limit for different columns is different.
