WebService.TestManagement.getTestSteps Permissions

Postby rpn » Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:12 pm

I get some strange behaviour from the Polarion-WebService (using the .Net-Wrapper):
- Query TestSteps for a TestWorkItem via uri-parameter
- No TestSteps are defined yet for that item (empty table in Web-UI)
- TestManagement.getTestSteps throws com.polarion.platform.security.PermissionDeniedException:

Code: Select all

com.polarion.platform.security.PermissionDeniedException: Permission com.polarion.persistence.object.instance./default/PROJ${WorkItem}PROJ-4711.INSTANCE.key.testSteps.modify denied for user username in context ContextId[cluster default, context PROJ].

This would be correct, if I tried to modify a testStep, but I am using just the getTestSteps-Method. Why is this getter throwing a ModificationDenied? Is it a known bug, or am I missing something?
No native speaker, sorry for my bad English.
