Setting SVNKit 1.1.1 as the default SVN Client

Postby fmaheu » Wed Feb 28, 2007 3:41 pm

Hi,

I'm preparing an eclipse package for internal use where I work, and I'd like to set up SVNKit as the default svn client for subversive, to avoid opening all the users' workspace to set it explicitly to svnkit. Is there a config file I can update in order to do so, or do I have to update the code in order to do so.

Thanks,
Frederic

Nevermind, i changed the DEFAULT_ID in org.polarion.team.svn.core.client.ISVNClientWrapper and regenerated a jar file.

Dear Frederic,

org.polarion.team.svn.core.client.ISVNClientWrapper.DEFAULT_ID is only the one place where it is possible to change default client. But the main problem in that case is possibility to uninstall optional clients. If this is happened and DEFAULT_ID is changed to ID of uninstalled client the plugin may fails at startup.
In the future we plan to rework our default client using SVN Kit or Native JavaHL library.
