Custom WorkItem questions.

I have some questions about customizing workitems.
    * Can you define and use your own struct types for custom fields?
    * Can you use existing struct types for custom fields?
    * Can you define custom fields as lists (like the hyperlink field)?
    * Is is possible to extend the hyperlink type to include a category field?
    * Is there a "combo box" UI element (a text field with a pre-populated list of * values as a drop down)?
    * Is it possible to add custom fields that HTML text fields in the same way that the description field is?
    * Is it possible to add multi-line text fields?

The main driver of these questions is being able to add multiple HTML documentation fields, and being able to categorise document attachments.

Hi,

* Can you define and use your own struct types for custom fields?
We support a plenty of custom field types in our Polarion server product (not FastTrack) which are propagated to FastTrack entries.
Struct types could be single or multiple selection fields.

* Can you use existing struct types for custom fields?
What do you mean with existing struct types?

* Can you define custom fields as lists (like the hyperlink field)?
These are the multi-value fields mentioned above. Yes, this is possible with the Polarion server.

* Is is possible to extend the hyperlink type to include a category field?
What do you mean with category? Link type/role is a category, isn't it?

* Is there a "combo box" UI element (a text field with a pre-populated list of * values as a drop down)?
Pre-populated drop-downs are available in our Polarion server product.

* Is it possible to add custom fields that HTML text fields in the same way that the description field is?
No, not yet, but planned for one of next releases.

* Is it possible to add multi-line text fields?
No, not yet, but planned for one of next releases.

Best,

Sorry, I meant "attachment", not hyperlink. Given the way attachments are stored at present (dumped in the folder and enumerated at runtime), this would mean adding a persisted XML field to the workitem to hold this, or adding it to the structured pathname that holds the attachment id at present.

Well, this sounds of a feature request :)
