missing admin area in project update

Postby stm » Wed Jul 18, 2007 2:36 pm

When I try to do a Team -> Update on my project subversive fails with the simple message:
Detect deleted projects operation failed.

and the advanced message:
svn: Directory '/home/setht/workspace/.svn' containing working copy admin area is missing

From the advanced message it appears that it is trying to get svn information from my workspace directory, which is not itsself a svn check out. My directory structure is as follows:

Code: Select all

~/workspace/project1
~/workspace/project2
etc ..

Where project1 and project2 may not be related -- and workspace is just a local directory that I store my projects for eclipse in. Do I have something set up incorrectly? I'm not sure why it would be expecting ~/workspace to have svn properties

Dear stm,

Definitely this shouldn't happen, but we unable to reproduce described error. Could you please check if the "workspace" folder contains .svn entry or not? And what client library is selected at Window->Preferences->Team->SVN->SVN Client and what Subversive version you use?
Best regards,
