"302 Found" on connecting to new repository

Postby aberent » Tue Mar 27, 2007 3:26 pm

I have just installed subversive on Eclipse 3.2.1 (running on Windows XP SP2). When I try to connect to my repository I get

Location information has been specified incorrectly.

PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/ippd/spirit'
PROPFIND '/svn/ippd/spirit': 302 Found
(http://cam-svn2.cambridge.arm.com)

Keep location anyway?

The root location I am using is:
http://cam-svn2.cambridge.arm.com/svn/ippd/spirit

This location works correctly in tortoiseSVN and subclipse.

Can you suggest what the problem is, and how I can work round it?

Dear aberent,

Could you please specify what client version you use (please look at Window->Preferences->Team->SVN->SVN Client) and what is the Subversion server version?
Best regards,

The client is JavaSVN client.

The server version is 1.2; we will be moving to 1.4.2 later this month.
