comparing trunk with a tag

Postby hauschel » Thu Mar 08, 2007 9:35 am

Hey all,
i've Eclipse 3.2.0 Build id: M20060628-1325 and subversive 1.1.0 RC6a. SVN is a 1.4 Server.

Comparing in the SVN Explorer:
If i setup the SVN client as Subversive Default, so i can mark the trunk and a tagged version. The context menu show me the item "compare". If i setup one of the other SVN client, the "compare" item is inactive.

Comparing with Subversive Default in the SVN Explorer:
I mark the trunk and a tagged version and choose "compare" from context menue. The compare view seems to show the different files, but if i choose one of these files, the compared versions are both the same revision ,-( A Bug?

Comparing Directory with Subversive Default in the Java Perspective:
"compare With->Revision" is inactive

Comparing Directory with SVN Kit in the Java Perspective:
"compare With->Revision" is inactive

Comparing Directory with JavaHL in the Java Perspective:
"compare With->Revision" is inactive

Comparing File with Subversive Default in the Java Perspective:
if i choose a file an click "compare with->Revision" than the folowwing error occurs '.....\pom.xml' is not under version control'
But that is not true ;-) A Bug?

Comparing File with SVN Kit in the Java Perspective:
It seems to work

Comparing File with JavaHL in the Java Perspective:
It seems to work

so is there anybody who can tell me if i should use this plugIn ?
comparison of directories with other branches/tags is my daily work. With sublclipse this is possible!

thanks
Fredy
