Thanks Alexander.

I was using an old version of Subversive (1.0.x). I removed it, installed 1.1.7 and read the Help page you pointed to.

Now, "auto-share" works partially:

If I go thru File->Import...>Existing Projects into Workspace, it works.
But if I select an existing project (which already contains Subversion information), the Team menu only shows "Apply Patch", there's no "Share Project" command.

I expected it to contain a Share command, and that this command would automatically recognize the project's Subversion metadata.

Dear dserodio,

The problem with absent "Share Project..." item looks very strange, because this item should be provided by Eclipse Team Services itself. So, this mean it will be always shown for all projects: in enabled state for unshared and in disabled state for shared projects.

I get this issue as well (only "apply patch" shows up in the Team menu).

It's quite frustrating

Same here. It started around the time I switched the plugin repository over
to the Eclipse one.

Try doing a "Close Project" followed by "Open Project", this seemed to force a refresh of the SVN connection information for me.
