Where in the source code is authentication handled?

Postby lrp » Tue Oct 17, 2006 3:30 pm

Hey

Having a little problem with the web client. Anonymous access to my repository works perfectly through the client, but once I enter a (valid) username/password pair through the login page I am told that my credentials are not valid. This is a quite recent build. I also downloaded the latest build, and the problem persists. Considering that the username and password works in other subversion clients, and that anonymous access works fine, I'm quite puzzled as to what could be wrong. I'm currently digging through the source code. Could anyone direct me as to what classes handle authentication / caching of user credentials?

Regards

Never mind, I managed to fix it. The CredentialsManager class didn't send the correct target url to login.jsp, nor did it actually check for the existence or contents of the username/password form parameters.

I don't know why this was a problem just for me (seeing as others have reported being able to log in), but at least it works now :D
