Error in creating new folders and adding files

Postby priyal » Thu Jul 06, 2006 5:36 am

Hi All,

I've installed SVN Web Client on Apache Tomcat 5.5.17 on Debian and now it can browse multirepositories in the Subversion. I'm getting following error when trying to Add new folders of files.

org.polarion.svnwebclient.data.DataProviderException: org.tmatesoft.svn.core.SVNException: PROPFIND request failed on '/TestProject/trunk/Research/AddingTestDir'

Dear pri,

Thank you for bug report. From the stack trace, which you provided I see that possible reason is redirection to alternative URL. Is it right that your repository was moved and URL redirection is defined in Apache for it? As far as I understand, other operations works well. Is it right?

Anyway, it seems to me that even in case of URL redirection such issue shouldn't happen. This exception is generated inside JavaSVN library, so I need to contact with their developers and report bug. It would be nice to know details about repository settings and redirection settings.

Thank you.
Best regards,
