New version of SVN Web Client released

Postby dobisekm » Wed Apr 05, 2006 2:17 pm

We are happy to announce the new version of the SVN Web Client. The version number is 2.5.0 to follow the numbering of our flagship Polarion DPP product (which contains the SVN Web Client as one of it's components). The most notable web client improvements are
  • Ability to work with multiple SVN repositories
  • Improved file compare view (added change navigation, better formatting)
  • SVN copy indicated in revision details
  • Improved handling of restricted access to parts of the repository
  • Improved rendering of multi-line commit messages
  • Support for basic authentication
  • Many bugfixes
The complete list of changes can be found in changes.txt.

The binaries and sources of the new version can be downloaded from the project page.

Enjoy!

Hi Cac,

yes, it's open-source and completely free for use. It's licensed under Apache License Version 2.0, which means that you can more-less to anything with it.

Shared Ressource

Postby Cac » Tue Oct 17, 2006 12:02 pm

HI
I would like to share ressource between WebClient.war.
I have several repository and the only differences is the web.xml files.
How to share (images, jsp, ...) to deploy only the WEB.xml file.
I already shared the files which are in lib and classes. i just put them in tomcat/shared/lib and ../classes.
How to share other ressource like images and jsp.
Thank You

Postby himkar » Wed Aug 08, 2007 9:35 am

Hi EbveryOne,

I am going to configure SVNWebClient in my eclipse but there are missing library problem. i am not able to point these java files.

import com.polarion.platform.core.PlatformContext;
import com.polarion.platform.service.repository.IRepositoryService;
import com.polarion.subterra.base.location.Location;
import com.polarion.platform.security.ISecurityService;
import com.polarion.platform.security.IUserCredentials;
import com.polarion.portal.tomcat.realm.PrincipalX;

Please any body can help me to get the jar file that have these classes.

Thanks

Hi Himcar,

you dont§ need this classes. The SVNWebClient contains some duplicate source folders src/contrib/polarion/ and src/contrib/standalone = they contain the same classes, but with different implementation for standalone mode and mode integrated into Polarion server. You should just ignore the src/contrib/polarion/ folder 9i.e. not mark it as source folder) and it should work.
