Postby Roman » Fri May 06, 2005 7:41 am

Ive tryed to deploy SVN Browser but after loggin in im receiving error "ERROR: '/xsl/blame.xsl' not found".

is it tomcat 5.5 issue? As i understand, SVNBrowser was tested only with tomcat 4

Linux,
J2SE 5.0
Tomcat 5.5.4
SVN Browser 1.0-M5 (01-Mar-2005)

Hi Roman,

do you get the error right after logging in, OR do you login, browse the repository, click the blame feature and get the error then?

Thanks,

Michal

Ive got error right after loggin in
looks like application cant locate xsl files. As i understand, tomcat trying to resolve '/xsl/blame.xsl' as absolute path (not relative to context)

I would suggest the following:

1) check, that the '/xsl/blame.xsl' is present in your webapps/svnbrowser (this should be true).

2) Try Tomcat 4.1.31

Probably it's a Tomcat 5 issue (since we haven't experienced it with Tomcat 4), but it could be possibly caused by something else in your setup - trying Tomcat 4.1.31 should clarify this.

One thing is for sure, I get this same error on Both JBoss 3.2.x and 4.0.x.
(which embeds Tomcat 5.0 & Tomcat 5.5)

And, when I try it on Tomcat 4.1, I get another error:
After login page, svnbrowser tries to load this page:
http://localhost:8080/svnbrowser/svnbrowser

and the browser output is:
HTTP 500 Internal server error
The page cannot be displayed.

Hello,

Reported problems are related to previous XSLT-based version. Current 1.0.0 version is significantly reworked in compare with previous one (please see release notes). Current version doen't use XSLT and JSTL and also supports Tomcat 5.5. Please use latest version.
