Error while connecting HTTPS Polarion Server

Postby yashgolwara » Thu Apr 26, 2018 6:00 am

My code for connecting to polarion server is working fine if i am using http server, but when i try using https server , i am getting the error ::
javax.net.ssl.SSLPeerUnverifiedException: peer not authenticated

What is the solution to handle this type of issues.
below is the code i am using for connecting to polarion server.

Code: Select all

      WebServiceFactory factory = new WebServiceFactory(polarionServer);
      SessionWebService sessionService = factory.getSessionService();
      sessionService.logIn(polarionUserName, polarionPassword);
      SecurityWebService securityService = factory.getSecurityService();
      ProjectWebService projectService = factory.getProjectService();

Hello Yashgolwara,

my first instinct would be that there is a problem with authentification and certification.
When connecting to SSL / HTTPS, you have to make sure that you have set the necessary certificate and authentification settings, especially for external Java Services connecting through WebService.

Please check out:

Important topic from this help page: Importing a Certificate to the Java Keystore

Take some time and read through the info, maybe it'll help.
