Postgre-Entity vs. Webservice Entity

Postby rpn » Fri Oct 27, 2017 11:21 am

Hello all - I've got a beginners question:
I've got Workitems out of the PostgreSQL-DB and I need to query the Webservice (to get BacklinkedWorkItems). Is it possible to construct the subterra-uri the Webservice needs from the data I get out of the sql-query?

Best wishes,
R.

Hi,

You have POLARION.WORKITEM.C_URI of your work item.
It is a number (BIGINT).
You should use it as C_ID in the POLARION.SUBTERRA_URI_MAP table.
You will get POLARION.SUBTERRA_URI_MAP.C_PK which is the URI you need.

Hi,

My previous answer was about working in the database.

When you have a WorkItem object, you can call getUri() on it.

Another option - if you wish to get the URI, you can use:
TrackerWebService.queryWorkItemUris("query","sort")

Thanks! That db-lookup worked.
