is possible to have an hyperlink in the description fields but not showing the url, i'd like to have the doc's name and cliking on it have the hyperink

steps i follow
1.- attached a doc in the item

2.- copy de url of the doc and paste it in the hyperlink field

3.- Insert the link in description field

But in the description field appears the url

And i don’t want it

I can do what i want with Word.
1.- I write the file name in doc and add the hyperlink

2.- After this, I copy and paste it in Polarion

Is possible to have this behaviour only working with Polarion?

I am on release 2014 SR1 and found that same annoying behaviour if you work in the workitem detail dialog and insert an URL via menu > Link.

But it is much more comfortable editing workitems in the doc view:
Menu > Link offers almost the same features as CTRL-K in MS-Word.
Here you can paste any URL (internal or external targets) from clipboard into the dialog and add a text label.
The result is the same as in MS-Word.
There is no need to attach a hyperlink to the WI.

If you stay with editing WI description in the detail dialog, there is a tricky work-around:
  1. you have attached a file or a hyperlink to the workitem
  2. Insert the URL via menu > Link
  3. set the cursor into the URL shown in the description, but do NOT mark the whole word
  4. overwrite the URL shown with your desired text label and delete character by character unwanted parts of the URL
That is like the steps in MS-Word but in reverse order
