Isn't it possible to rename a WIKI space?

Hi,

I think it is not possible via the frontend. I often have to rename spaces in our wikis and I do it directly via the repository. Up to now I had no negative impacts - of course you have to correct links directing to this space.

Richie

Okay ... i thought that it might probably be possible in the repository ... but i feared that could destroy something....
Thank you !!!

Hm .... renaming a WIKI space in SVN repository removes all the attachments?

Yes, I tested it on our staging server - attachments are not shown after renaming. We do not use attachments on wiki pages so this wasn't a problem for us up to now. Maybe an index has to be refreshed?

Hello,
I tested the wiki space rename with Polarion2011 SP2. The problem is still present: all wiki attachments are missing after the rename of the space (but they are still present in SVN repository).

As workaround you can add and then remove a dummy attachment (0 byte file) for each wiki page.

Bye,
GP

The dummy attachment works fine ... even any other change to attachments did work.
