Internal links inside wiki

Postby p61 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 12:04 pm

Hello,

Is it possible to include, inside a wiki page, a link to another section or paragraph from the same wiki page?
How? Is there something similar to HTML anchors?
I especially need this to refer to the reference documents.

Thank you for any answers,
Patrick Sizun

Hi,

we've solved this with mixing wiki and "standard" HTML. Not very pretty, but it works - now

Code: Select all

Hello,

You can use HTML-Syntax within Wiki-Pages. So simply use the known HTML link anchors.

Sandro

Edit: Okay, maybe the approve process of the posts is to slow ;). However, it is not bad to use HTML syntax in Wiki-Pages :)! You could do some cool stuff with JavaScript and so on.

Hello,
Thank you for your answers.

A somewhat different question:
I have a module with some work items and a section in the module's wiki page that lists these work items.
Is it possible to add, inside a work item, an hyperlink to another section of the module' s wiki page?
After exporting to PDF, will the hyperlinks in the resulting PDF be working?

I tried the above method, e.g. "See [#mytarget]"
I also tried to add a link in the Hyperlinks area of the Table view but it seems reserved for complete URLs?

Hello,

what is the use case for your question?

Well, have a look at this extension: http://extensions.polarion.com/polarion ... ion=PE-285

It displays work items of a module without module-workitems macro from Polarion. So you are free to customize the output. Of course you need some Veloctiy Knowledge. You can try to add an hyperlink in work item view to parse and change it within the extension afterwards.

Of course it is possible but I have no idea why someone needs that.

Hello Sandro,

My goal is, within each requirement WorkItem, to cite the short reference of the document at the origin of this requirement,
and to link to a "References" section in the Wiki where the detailed reference of this document would be given.

I will have a look. Thank you.
