Using Eclipse to Build the source?

Postby disruptor108 » Tue Aug 08, 2006 3:00 pm

How do I use Eclipse to build the source once I've gotten all of the source code from SVN?

I just checked in my eclipse .projetc and .classpath files.
After updating the sources building with eclipse should work.

I've tried using the Maven plug-in to generate a .project and .classpath file for eclipse, but it seems to generate an empty project.

Eclipse also doesn't seem to recognise the externaltools.xml file that Maven generates, even though I've put it in the right place.

If anyone has any tips on getting this working, please let us know.

I got it working by using Subversive inside of Eclipse. I checked out each folder under the trunk as a project, and it all compiled nicely.

Thanks,

I'll give it a try.
