Re: Import project from MKS to SVN

It may be waiting for some authorization information??? The log tells what svnimporter was trying to do, namely C:/Program Files/MKS/IntegrityClient/bin/si.exe viewprojecthistory -P C:/MKS/project.pj --fields=revision,author,date,labels,description I would try entering that command from a command sh...

Re: Patches for SVN Importer

Your hard work on fixing things is greatly appreciated, and we will get these patches integrated into the main product. But (you new there was a but coming didn't you)..... I really don't recommend using our tool for CVS migrations. The people who developed Subversion were originally heavy CVS users...

Re: Multiple svn dumps - how to import into SVN

Just load them one at a time, in the correct order.

Re: Not enough quota is available to process this command

Never seen that one before. A quick Google search makes it obvious that this is some kind of Windows problem rather than an svnimporter or svnadmin problem. You are basically running out of something and need free of more of whatever it is. Closing apps, rebooting windows, purchasing more memory mig...

Re: Configman Dimension to Subversion

Not at the present time, though you might be able to coble one together.... If Configman Dimension uses the same back end as PVCS, you might be able to run with the migration with the standard pcli.exe client. If dmcli has the same or similar parameters, you might be able to run the migration by lis...

Re: How to do Incremental Import from CC to SVN

I've never done an incremental migration and do not recommend using them. If for no other reason because they are incompatible with the file_copy option which I consider an essential part of a successful migration.

Good luck,

Re: VSS to SVN migration - error in loading dump file

You've got it backwards. The command should be

svnadmin load repo < dumpfile

Re: ClearCase > Subversion

Nope. The importer is set up to only run one project at a time. Nothing stops you from setting up scripts that run the importer multiple times to migrate multiple projects.

have fun,

Re: Multiple svn dumps - how to import into SVN

You load the dump files into an svn repository using the svnadmin program. You have to look up the syntax, from memory it is something like

svnadmin import [repository] < [dumpfile]

It is very important that the dump files be loaded in the correct sequence.

Re: missing file and revision in PVCS to SVN migration

I don't see any attached log files. They may be to large to attach to a forum post.

Also need to know which files and revisions are missing.

Have a nice day,

Re: to date. Expected format: "yyyy-MM-dd'T'kk:mm:ss

That error means you passed exactly 3 parameters to svnimporter, and that the 3rd parameter was not a valid date/time. It looks like you only intended to pass 2 parameters. I would look at the run.sh file and make sure it is doing what you think it is doing.

Good luck,

Re: lets put on your issue

We need a little more info. What errors are you getting exactly.

Are you getting errors while loading an svnimporter generated dump file? If not, and if you have problems with svn itself, you might have better luck posting this on the Subversion forums.

Good luck,
-Ken
