I don't completely agree with the answer on changing revision properties but I can live with it - it is not a big problem for me if it's missing. I found out how to do it, and it is controlled by the pre-revprop-change hook, so it is really under the full control of the administrator anyway. It woul...

svn:ignore - difference between Project and Repository?

This is a split off the post "Modifying revision properties" . My original question was: Another property that I would like to edit is the server-side "svn:ignore" property. I can edit the client side but not the server side. I currently have svn:ignore set on my 'trunk' folder a...

Thanks Igor! I don't mind what happens with files that are really added (brand new files) and removed (files that are deleted) - maybe a dialog could pop up and say that comparison is not possible. My problem was with moved files, and only in the lower pane of the Resource History where you compare ...

It is not happening anymore (MS12), so it must have been a bug - I agree.

Very interesting one! I did some tests and found that MS11 and MS11a were also doing this now. So I realised it cannot be MS12, but it must be something else I did at the same time as updating to MS12. I wanted an SCC interface to Subversion for my file comparison tool, Beyond Compare (from Scooter ...

The search is still not returning the post I referred to (http://forums.polarion.org/viewtopic.php?t=202), so I think it is still not working.

It is now finding some posts but not all ... ?

Why is working copy read-only after commit?

Since MS12, whenever I commit, my working copy (of the committed files) becomes read-only.

Is this a feature or a bug?

Where exactly is the information about the site creators? Did you mean www.polarion.com instead of .org?

Fix published in MS12 "release notes" not working

I am using Eclipse 3.1.2. I have been using Subversive since release 1.0.0.M5 in March 2006 and was reasonably happy with it but I am now becoming concerned that things are getting worse. For example, in MS10, I could compare different revisions of a resource in the "Resource History" view...

I assume you mean MS11a.

I haven't tried it yet, but you can roll back using

I agree that there is some sort of problem here, although I can't put my finger on it.

See my thread: http://forums.polarion.org/viewtopic.php?t=211 for more details.

It seems that it works partially, so perhaps both sides of this argument are correct in some way.

Team-Switch operation failed

I set up a Subversion 1.3.0 repository using Apache webserver 2.0.55 + OpenSSL 0.9.8a to access our SVN repository thorugh port 3690. After a few weeks, I decided it would be better to use the standard HTTPS port, 443 and tried to change this yesterday. I started by making the change in Eclipse/Subv...

Modifying revision properties

Is it possible to modify revision properties through Subversive? For example, I recently committed a change but forgot to type in a comment (svn:log), so now my revision has no comment [another question is why was that allowed?] Now I would like to do the equivalent of svn propedit svn:log --revprop...

.svn folders created during eclipse build process

I am using Subversion SVN Team Provider 1.0.0.MS10a. Usually, when I build my project, there are no .svn subfolders in the 'bin' folder (which is the output folder). However, as soon as I reach a depth of 4 folders or more in my package hierarchy, .svn folders are produced. Here is a picture: worksp...
