Re: queryWorkItems sorting by outlineNumber does not work

Hello, In short: outline number is not a property of a workitem, therefore you can't use is for sorting. The outline number is dynamically calculated by the WI's position within a document and is therefore depending on the document context of the WI. The function you use returns just a bunch of WIs ...

Re: hand down custom field value

Hello, When you create a new child WI in context of an existing WI using the "Create Linking Work Item" button (blue + below WI-Title) you can define several field that should be copied from parent WI to new child WI (in Administration > Work Items > Form Configuration > Linking Work Item ...

Re: Requirements per Document in Live Page Pie Chart

Hello Ben, how is your pageParameter "ReqDocuments" defined? Have you tried to output just the result of ${pageParameters.getAsString("ReqDocuments")}) ? If this does not show the id of the selected document (including space name) your parameter definition is obvious wrong. So go...

Re: Requirements per Document in Live Page Pie Chart

Hello Ben, Looking at the integrated Wiki help of Polarion (http://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/wiki/bin/view/page/Doc/SyntaxHelp#HParameters) you'll find method "getAsString" for the pageParameters. $pageParameters.getAsString("ReqDocuments") should give you a string including ...

Re: WorkItem Created or Saved

Hello Shawn, The problem is the internal object handling of Polarion. Before a WI is saved for the first time the pre- / post-save scripts operate on a "temporary" object. On this temporary object some functions don't work correctly. When you edit an existing WI the pre- / post-save script...

Re: Customize Table of Linked Work Items in WorkItem Form

Hello Stephanie, unfortunately that's not configurable out of the box. A possible solution would be not to use the "linkedworkitems"-field in the form layout, but a self-developed form extension which renders a table as you like to have it (see Polarion SDK http://almdemo.polarion.com/pola...

Re: WorkItem Created or Saved

Hello Shawn,

have you tried to embedd your code in a try-catch block?

Code: Select all

try{
// Your code
} catch (e) {
}
I assume this should solve your problem.

Kind regards,

Martin

Re: Add option to custom Enumeration

Hello Tobias, How have you integrated your PHP script into a wikipage? Do you use IFrame or have you installed PHP on your Polarion server? I fear it's not so easy to create new enum options on the fly because AFAIK there is no API function for this. Only possibility would be to checkout the regardi...

Re: User logged in infomration

Hello Guido, Sorry, I didn't realize that this wiki code depents on a custom extension which disposes the $licenseInfo object. Without this extension there's no such object available and it's not possible to access the requested information. Therefore I revoke my former answer. Kind regards Martin

Re: Notification Based on Custom Date Field

You have to write a job to achieve this. You can either write a java extension, as described in http://forums.polarion.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19216 or you use the Polarion Scripting extension and write a simple script, as described in http://forums.polarion.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20221&...

Re: Filter with Application

Hello Michel,

What do you mean with "Application(s)"? Do you mean Polarion Projects? If so you can use the "Project ID" filter:

Code: Select all

project.id:my_project_id

Re: Searching within certain work items

Hello Michel,

You can write:

Code: Select all

id:(wi-1 wi-2 wi-3 ... wi-60)

That's identical to:

Code: Select all

id:wi-1 OR id:wi-2 OR id:wi-3 ... OR id:wi-60

Kind regards

Martin
