Re: Graph to know opened and closed Workitems

Hi, I'd recommend you to find inspiration on Polarion Extensions Portal, for example, this one could answer your request: http://extensions.polarion.com/extensions/207-issues-trend-report If id doesn't fully correspond to your expectation - adjust it yourself, or approach our Professional Services t...

Re: Plan Progress for workitems task, defect, etc. in Plans

Hello Maja,

I'd recommend you to approach our support to solve this issue.

Please note that I was not speaking about "parent/has parent" link role, I've spoken about "parent" checkmark in the link roles configuration. See the 4th column in attached screenshot.

Best regards,
Nick

Re: Plan Progress for workitems task, defect, etc. in Plans

Hello Maja, please check if there is a "parent" relationship between items in the plan (i.e. if there are 2 items in the plan, and one of them is container for children - defined by "parent" flag in linking configuration, - only one of them will be planed. Which one depends on th...

Re: Custom Fields for specific Document Types

actually I already found a Demand item for it, so I've entered your company as a requestor there:

Re: Custom Fields for specific Document Types

Hello Karatas,

No, there is no such possibility today. Our product management was not convinced that this case needs to be supported.
Please report to our Support (or just enter it in the Self-Service Portal) your scenario for a Demand item.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Nick

Re: Polarion Webservices C#

Hi, if I understand description correctly - you already have connectivity to the server and you call the WebService methods. For the "unauthorized" thing - in first place, ensure that you can perform desired operation from UI of Polarion, using the same credentials, you've provided in WS c...

Re: PermissionDeniedException after application refactoring

Hi MaFloruss,

from the stack trace I'd guess that the user loses authentication, when you try to access Polarion from several threads (see "... denied for user null in ...").
I'm not an expert here, I'd give a try to authenticate per thread/connection.

Nick

Re: Parent checkbox in the work-items-role-enum screen

Hi,

Particularly, It's used in planning - if item is child, its estimates are assumed to be part of the parent's estimate.

Re: persistence exception

Hi Vijay, I'm not linux expert, on windows there is an reindex.bat, which simply deletes (renames) directory, where the index data is stored and starts Polarion. isn't it simply "/polarion/bin/polarion.init reindex" (exactly this string) that you need to execute? Check content of the polar...

Re: How to create hyperlinks to WorkItems in Wiki pages

Hi,
I'd also give a try to {portallink} macro, as it will simplify context definition (see http://<your host>/polarion/#/wiki/Doc/SyntaxHelp)

Re: persistence exception

Hello, in first place, I'd recommend you to contact support - you need an urgent help, this is where Support team is the one to reply timely. As naive solution - you simply can start Polarion in Reindex mode (as some index files can't be found - sounds like structure of the files was damaged somehow...

Re: Test Post - Is this forum active?

Hi,

unfortunately we're suffering from quite a lot of spam on the forums, and while moderators cleaning up it, it's hard to find and accept real posts from the new users.

We're working on it.
I'm very sorry for the troubles!

Nick

Re: add Object into Document

Hi Gontor, I still not sure what you do. In your latest code excerpt, you still try to do some operations with not yet committed work item. And I strongly recommend you to make it step-by-step (e.g. after work item creation make sure it's really created, and then try to move it to a module). If you ...

Re: add Object into Document

I would give it a try :-)

Before you've committed it, there is no real object (it exists only in memory, has no physical location, ID, etc.).
May be there is some special processing in Polarion for such cases, I don't know so deeply.

Best regards,
Nick
