Hi Maverick, Firstly: the file pvcsroot.ser is binary file, if you did edit it in a text editor, then it might be damaged and cause some PVCS malfunction. Regarding the missing files: Have a look to pvcs.tempdir/vlog.tmp and pvcs.tempdir/files.tmp – and try to find files which are not present in d...

Hi Praful, we checked the log files you sent me, but unfortunately we were not able to learn anything from them. So we are unable to provide any advice without testing on version 6.8, which we actually don't have, so we are unable to help you. If you will find the solution, then please share it here...

Hi Mav, I don't have experice with PVCS, so I am unable to help you much. From the error messages it seems to me, that the database is corrupted in some way, but I might be wrong. The SVNImporter just calls this command line tool included in PVCS. So I would suggest, that you might get some hlp at t...

Hi Maverick, it looks like the PVCS is not able to open it's own database. Which PVCS version created this database? Is your PVCS repository currently in use or are you trying to get out data from some ancient backup files? It seems to me, like there is not problem with SVNImporter coniguration, but...

Hi, From PVCS documentation: “Application was tested on Merant PVCS version 8.0 and is compatible with other versions, which have the same pcli utility command line interface." Version 6.8 has pcli.exe – so it should work. Regarding your log - please check that file U:\Generic_API\archives\c54rs...

Hi Marcelo, the problem in your logs seems to be Caused by: java.io.IOException: CreateProcess: "C:/Archivos de programa/Rational/ClearCase/bin/cleartool.exe" lshistory -recurse -fmt %Nd@@@%En@@@%Vn@@@%o@@@!%l@@@!%a@@@%m@@@%u@@@%Nc@@@\n error=267 Which means that Java is not able to start the C:/Arc...

Hi Maverick,

the problem seems to be in 'pvcs.projectpath=c:\\work', which should be path to repository not to “checkout” version.

Hope this helps,

Hi Marcelo,

your config file seems to be OK.

Could you send your svnimporter.log and history.log files as well? In case they are too big to paste, then please send them to my email michal.dobisek AT polarion.org

Hi Marcelo, the SVN Importer works in two phases: first it reads your repository and creates a SVN Dump file from it, second it imports the dump file into the SVN repository. The second step is optional, because it can be done manually as well. The best way to start is to download the SVN Importer b...

Hi Neil,

please map this path to windows share disk, because PVCS can’t checkout to UNC path.
