Re: [SOLVED] Disable Polarion for certain Webbrowsers

As some final note, I have added following Code to the login.jsp right after the <body>-Tag was opened: <div id="TestDIV" style="border: 1px solid black; background-color: #FF9999; width: 100%; height: 30px; padding: 10px; font-size: 20px; display:none;">&#8505;&nbsp;&...

Re: Disable Polarion for certain Webbrowsers

Hello Jürgen,

thank you very much for your honest opinion and the hint.

Maybe I do change the solution then to any kind of information appearing when using Polarion on Internet Explorer.

Re: Disable Polarion for certain Webbrowsers

Hello Michael,

thank you very much for your idea. Is there any way to make sure the JavaScript-Code is executed on every single Polarion page? In other words: Where to best embed it?

Thanks

[SOLVED] Disable Polarion for certain Webbrowsers

Is there any possibility to make Polarion only accessible to certain Webbrowsers (for example "Chrome") / deny certain webbrowsers (for example Internet Explorer) to access to Polarion? Background: We have made experiences, that some Polarion functions do not properly work in Internet Expl...

Re: Best practise to log from Wiki-Page

Logging to Console works with following example: #set($lsid = "ls_12345") #set($reqid = "req_12345") <script type="text/javascript"> var lsid= "${lsid}"; var reqid= "${reqid}"; console.log(lsid + " was not set suspect by update of " + reqid...

Best practise to log from Wiki-Page

Hello, can you recommend any methods to log (to the Polarion LogFile or Webbrowser-Console) from a Polarion-Wiki Page (Velocity-Context)? In JavaScript-Context I am using: logger.info("string" + JSVar +"string") or post-save context: polarionLog.info("string" + JSVar +&...

Re: Import from Confluence

Confluence Wiki has some specific markup including custom HTML-Tags, like: <ac:layout> <ac:layout-section ac:type="single"> <ac:layout-cell> ... A Polarion Wiki can read HTML-Code, but unfortunately won't understand the specific Wiki macro of Confluence. Maybe an iFrame provides a possible...

Change Icon of Custom Form Extension for Work Item View

Is there any possibility to change the standard Icon of a custom created form extension? For the development of the custom formextension the polarion example "com.polarion.example.formextension" was used. The development itself took place in Eclipse Jee. In the standard, it displays the &q...

Re: How to integrate JavaScript into Classic Wiki Page Markup

Sorry for my late response. I have just found out, that JavaScript Code in Classic Wiki Page context is only properly executed when setting it into {pre} CODE {/pre}.

Example:

Code: Select all

{pre}
<script type="text/javascript">
function xyz {
 do xyz
}
</script>
{/pre}

Re: automated PDF export

I recommend you to use the Scheduler of Polarion in the Global Administration. You can connect a Job to JavaScript or Groovy script (location: Polarion/scripts). In the JavaScript and Groovy context you can use the openapi of Polarion: https://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/sdk/doc/javadoc/index.html

Re: Anchor links jumping to project home page

I am experiencing the same behaviour. That's why I recommend following alternative: You basically need two script blocks. The script block you want to jump from: <button onclick="myFunction()">Click me</button> <script> function myFunction() { document.querySelector('.hello').scrollIntoVie...

Re: LiveReport page - Anchor tags reloading same page

I probably found an alternative with the JavaScript "scrollIntoView()" method for your demand. You basically need two script blocks. The script block you want to jump from: <button onclick="myFunction()">Click me</button> <script> function myFunction() { document.querySelector('....

Is there any way to exclude certain lines to be logged in the main log4j?

We experience a really quick size-climbing of our main Log-File of Polarion, so that we come up with the question, if it's possible to exclude certain things to be logged, such as every line including for example:

Code: Select all

"Render Widget for preview"

Kind Regards,
Steff
