Re: Porting pre-save JS script to nashorn

Most properties are not directly listed in the polarion.properties file, unfortunately. You can add the property yourself + restart the service, just to make sure. I am not sure what the default setting is, but this should exclude the possibility of any script adaption for older versions. And yes - ...

Re: Porting pre-save JS script to nashorn

Hello again, I was just testing this on my local Polarion ALM 18.3 running on OpenJDK 11.0.1+13, and the result is as follows, for the following script: https://serving.photos.photobox.com/754430068bf0cf9786e0e312c23d347896187056547bc9a6dd48c8c58bccf70d605237cb.jpg This at least confirms that the ca...

Re: Porting pre-save JS script to nashorn

Hello drouleau, I am not sure if your code does not do this already, but try adding the explicit call to import the desired package, like so: // Load compatibility script load("nashorn:mozilla_compat.js"); // Import the java.awt package importPackage(com.polarion.alm.tracker.model); Let us...

Re: Unable to save comment programmatically

On first glance, I think the problem is caused at some other position in the code. Seeing as the cause for the error message seems to be this part in the error log: Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: There is no contribution with name BomCdnPublishing for prototype WorkItem ...Caused by: j...

Re: How do i create new workitem using Polarion openAPI?

As the above poster mentioned, have a look at: https://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/sdk/doc/javadoc/com/polarion/alm/tracker/ITrackerService.html and use the createWorkItem method. Note that it specifically mentions that this Object is not persisted (yet). You need to call: $transactionService.begi...

Re: Referenced WorkItems in a Document

Dear fml, if you want to do this over a ScriptBlock in a LiveReport page, my suggestion would be the following: 1) Try to access the IModuleManager provided by the Polarion OpenAPI, see here: https://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/sdk/doc/javadoc/com/polarion/alm/tracker/IModuleManager.html You can d...

Re: Resolve module verdict comment ?

On first glance, both the Workitem Object and the ICommentBase Object from Signature.getVerdictComment() have a .save method. When you use the setter methods, you are modifying the local instances of the objects, not the one in your repo. I think this is the case here as well. To make the changes re...

Re: Create Time triggered baselines

For some first ideas, I would suggest checking out: https://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/sdk/doc/javadoc/com/polarion/alm/tracker/IBaselinesManager.html The Interface in the Polarion API has a function createBaseline(java.lang.String name, java.lang.String description, java.lang.String revision, IU...

Re: Ensure single assignee

Hello sk-tsb, I would not really recommend this solution - but if absolutely needed, you can implement a savehook script to check for size of assignee list on every save of the workitem. Keep in mind that this can be taxing on performance and load times, but if only needed for certain projects and s...

Re: Create link, addLinekdItem function

Two suggestions: - Check your addLinkeditem Method. See the API DOC: https://almdemo.polarion.com/polarion/sdk/doc/javadoc/com/polarion/alm/tracker/model/IWorkItem.html#addLinkedItem-com.polarion.alm.tracker.model.IWorkItem-com.polarion.alm.tracker.model.ILinkRoleOpt-java.lang.String-boolean- The me...

Re: Is it possible to change the type of a work item through bulk edit, the API or a Wikipage?

This might be a real dirty solution, but do you have any way of doing this edit through SVN search and replace? I mean, it sounds kind of stupid, but it would be a solution that does not require you to click through each single workitem. Check out the repository of the project, locate the 600 workit...

Re: Error while connecting HTTPS Polarion Server

Hello Yashgolwara, my first instinct would be that there is a problem with authentification and certification. When connecting to SSL / HTTPS, you have to make sure that you have set the necessary certificate and authentification settings, especially for external Java Services connecting through Web...

Re: remove roles from user via SDK

Hello again, IProjectService and ISecurityService were used from libs that were referenced from Polarion. I think this was mentioned in one of the examples for the SDK Servlet as well, and which configuration is necessary for Eclipse (e.g.) to reference the dependencies / libraries. As can be seen i...

Re: remove roles from user via SDK

Hey Almighty and Kevin, I'll post a code snippet of a servlet that managed to do the job. (changing roles of users, etc.) As Almighty already mentioned, you can not change such settings for a user over the WebServices (!) You have to do this over servlets (see SDK examples, there's one there I belie...

Problem when saving WorkItem: Modification prohibited in ReadOnly Transaction

Hello all, hopefully, someone can help me with a specific problem we encountered just recently, when switching to Polarion ALM 17.3.3. First off, we have a WorkFlow Function defined in our Project, that is supposed to copy an Attachment from a relative path in the repository to the Attachment of the...
