Re: Aggregated number of revisions using SQL

If you mention you are new to Polarion, then I need to ask the following question: Do you know the history button of a work item? I mean the clock symbol in the work item menu bar. Your text sounds as if you want to reproduce that. Is that correct? Unfortunately you are mistaken. The revision number...

Re: Create LiveDoc Document on the level of the default repository

I don't know, but you can easily test this with any document and a user who may read that document. You create a shortcut and the user tries to use it.

Re: Create LiveDoc Document on the level of the default repository

I think it is not easily possible to create a document in the default rep.

As a workaround you could create a project, that can be read by all users, and create the document there. You could create a link to it on the default homepage.

ah, sorry...

my answer was not helpful. I thought you meant "changed", not "exceeded".

It is definitely too hot in Germany right now

Re: Install/COnfigure assignee_2

I can only tell you that it is possible to assign an item to multiple people with the existing assignee field. You could probably create a second field, but all the mechanisms like the usage of the user role "assignee", and e.g. searching for "assigned to me" won't work with the ...

Re: Notification if dueDate is exceed

Hi, Sven

in the configuration settings for the notification there is a button "Advanced Settings", that allows to define the fields which are used for notification.

Re: How to integrate JavaScript into Classic Wiki Page Markup

I think the wiki help should give you the right idea. If that doesn't help maybe the example in http://forums.polarion.com/viewtopic.php?t=97550 will help

Re: Missing gifs (Symbols for attributes) in notification emails

Hello, Sven

I have just tested this and it works fine, but upon opening the mail I saw that ALL images were only shown as placeholders (small red crosses) because of Outlooks security features. Downloading all the images by pressing the right button in the mail helped me.

Re: Calculate priority

I have not done this before, I have only read the help for this topic, and it is in fact a little bit confusing due to the weak definition of parent and child relationship. If I understand it correctly, then for two items linked, you can sum up different fields in the parent item by combining the pa...

Re: SVN Repository / File Repository difference

Data storage in Polarion is divided in two parts: First part is Subversion, where all the data is stored for good. Because Subversion is really bad when you want to find things fast, Polarion builds up an SQL database where all the data from subversion is represented in tables for fast access. The d...

Re: Reports take 5 minutes to load

I am not sure if this can be fixed by you. When I talked to the support team in my case, they explained that the global admins have kind of "shortcut" because they are allowed to see everything. For normal users Polarion checks everything, and depending on your usecase, for example it also...

Re: Reports take 5 minutes to load

ok, here is an idea: I have experienced, that wiki pages with a lot of work items load a lot of faster when the user has global admin rights, probably because for them the access rights are not (or differently) checked during access. I think when the browser is idle that just means that the server i...

Re: Is there any kind of index.html of the GUI from Polarion?

If your goal is to get a little more "company look and feel" with Polarion, then you can exchange the Logos used on the Login page and in the application to use your company Logo there. It is also possible to exchange the Siemens Logo on the Login screen by something else. Changing buttons...

Re: SVN in WikiContent

Hi, Ralf I think the reason that it is not displayed is that revision is not a field of the document. The wiki help for "pages" says, that only certain fields are possible here (in our Polarion version: name, title, project, space, updated, created, updatedby, createdby). So I don't think ...
