Re: Planned In field for Test Runs?

Thanks for the reply!

Do you know if this would work with plans in other projects that have the project span set to that project? Or will it only work with plans from that same project?

Planned In field for Test Runs?

Any way to make this possible? I would like to select a plan in a test run field, similar to how work items can have this field.

Re: How to Change workitem type in workflow

I will give you some code but it is not complete, you will have to fill some holes on your own. Hopefully this puts you in the correct direction: //get work item list that you want to change var workItemList; //get list of all available work item types in project var wiTypes = ITrackerProject.getWor...

Re: Save work Items via js-Job

You have to open a transaction and save the work item. When you use the setCustomField method, you are only modifying the local object of the work item, not the one in your repo. To make the changes reflect on your repo, you would have something like this: var txService = com.polarion.platform.core....

Re: adding a list of users to global role

Are you wanting to add global roles or project roles? Context roles are project roles. Regardless, since I usually know exactly what roles I am trying to programmatically grant, I usually hard code the role id string and use it as the parameter of the method that grants the roles. For example with p...

Re: How initialize a platform for PlatformContext.getPlatform()

Not sure if this will help you, but I have always added a cast to that object and it works for me:

ITransactionService transactionService = (ITransactionService) PlatformContext.getPlatform().lookupService(ITransactionService.class);

Re: loginUserFromVault with JavaScript

Edit:
After adding try-catch blocks I get a more specific error:
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException

Why would this be occurring?

loginUserFromVault with JavaScript

Has anybody been able to achieve this? I would like to use this for a doAsUser method, but I'm not able to get the subject object. Whenever I try to use the method, I get this error on my browser console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error) This...

Re: help me!!!!

I'm not 100% sure why the problem is what it is, but one solution is that you may be to mark all the projects individually to have them appear. They will be the same as you left them but the downside is manually doing all the marking.

Re: Sending emails from Job

This is definitely not the problem, I have tried multiple, verified email addresses and I still get this error. Though, I tested your suggestion regardless just in case. The same code and email works from one side of the system but not in this.

Re: Create user programmatically

Hello, have there been any improvements on this functionality? I am also trying to create a local user automatically and right now the methods from ISecurityService and IProjectService aren't doing anything (or not working as intended). Thank you!
