Re: MS project roundtrip

Hello all, good news: there shall be an update of MS Project export feature inside Polarion 18.3 (end of 2018). After this update the export from Polarion shall follow the MS Project XML scheme correctly. This update will not (!) cover a complete roundtrip between MS Project and Polarion; an import ...

Re: Microsoft Project Import

Hello, the import direction MS Project -> Polarion is working, the other way (Polarion->MS Project) not (see forum post: http://forums.polarion.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=97791&p=54275#p54275) This input works only once as expected, a second import with changed MS Project data will create new w...

Re: MS project roundtrip

Here is the update of my analysis (support analysis still ongoing). In the Polarion export with the XML (MS Project) format there are two (IMO) bugs: 1) the index of the WBS/OutlineNumber starts at "0" -> must be "1" 2) the is a mismatch of OutlineLevel and OutlineNumber -> conte...

Re: MS project roundtrip

Currently I have the feedback from Polarion support, that a roundtrip is not intended. Nevertheless I wonder about some strange behaviour in the export for XML (MS Project format) and I'm still in contact with support team. At the moment I want to have a clear statement, which work item data is expo...

MS project roundtrip

Hello all, is it possible to perform a MS Project roundtrip? That means: 1. export initial project schedule from MS Project 2. import to Polarion (adjust import settings; maybe the corresponding work items exist from previous import) 3. do daily work and update work item properties in Polarion 4. ex...

Re: Export work items (XML) for MS project

Is there a configuration file for export of work items in MS project format (similar to the import configuration file in the dedicated folder/tracker/import_configurations/ in the repository)?
Is it possible to configure the mapping between Polarion and MS Project items in this file?

Export work items (XML) for MS project

Hello all, according Polarion help (Exporting Work Items to Microsoft Project) you should be able to export work items to target format "xml: MS Project document". When I open the dialog in my Polarion, I have no option "xml: MS Project document" available in my drop down box. Do...

TCP port 5433 used for PostgreSQL

Hello all, after Polarion installation the port number 5433 is used for access of postgresql server. The official port number for postgresql according IANA should be 5432. Is there any reason why 5433 is used (instead of official port)? Is it possible to change this number in configuration files (af...
