Re: Can licenses be transferred from one instance to another?

You could use an Coordinator-server to use your licenses on both instances. Depending on the special use case this could be a better solution, especially when users use both instances or you rely on concurrent licenses.

Re: Isses creating workitems access denied

Can you check the SVN permissions in [polarion_install]/data/svn/access? There should be some entries for the project like this: [/Sandbox/Test] * = @admin = rw polarion = r @Test-project_admin = rw @Test-project_approver = rw @Test-project_assignable = rw @Test-project_user = r [/Sandbox/Test/.pola...

Re: LDAP Configuration Errors (Bind Problem And Authentication Problem)

Hello Mustafa, can you post the LDAP settings (anonymized!)? Try unsing the global catalog by using port 3268 - even if you don't have a multi domain setting. And don't use an LDAP admin but a normal user. In most cases they can read the entire directory - your IT guys will know an account. Did you ...

Re: Show logge in users

Go to Global Administration - License.
Below the licenses count you can find a collapsed heading "Usage Details". It is not obvious but you can open this heading by klicking on the small arrow on the right and finally get all users actually using a license.

Re: SVN in WikiContent

Hello Ralf, you don't get this information with the {pages} command. But you can try the following code: #set($pages = $trackerService.getDataService().searchInstances("RichPage", "", "id")) <table> <tr> <th>title</th> <th>space</th> <th>revision</th> <th>updated</th> <...

Re: Is there any kind of index.html of the GUI from Polarion?

Hello SteffPoint, there is an index.html file in the apache htdocs folder (bundled/apache/htdocs) but that one is not used for Polarion itself. It is shown, when you open the polarion URL without the trailing /polarion. The portal is generated by the server. I think it would be easyer to help you, w...

Re: create a default view for the "MyPolarion" page for every user

Hello Rebecca, the path is correct. Just navigate to your polarion folder, then to polarion/plugins and search for the only folder named com.polarion.alm.tracker_<version-number>. There is a folder configuration/My Polarion with the file page.xml. Despite the version number nothing has changed. When...

Re: Use Enumeration Custom Field for Workflow Condition

Hello,

getValue returns an object, in this case an IEnumOption. To compare it to "yes" you will have to compare the id of the object:

Code: Select all

if(workItem.getvalue("feasible").id == "yes") transitionPermitted = true;

Re: Get real starting date of an item

To get a larger table with these dates is a performance-killer when using the diffmanager. It would be better to change the workflow to set your custom field to the correct date. See Help - Search for "ChangeField". When there are a lot of Work Items that don't have the field filled proper...

Manually commit WorkItems

Hello, I am searching for a solution to create WorkItems without logging in to Polarion. We want to create a web-frontend where workers can report problems in the assembly of our products. My idea is to have a PHP-script that checks out the projects workitems-folder and to create a new WorkItem manu...
