Re: How to show document properties in the side bar by default?

Oh, and there is one more sidebar name to list: &sidebar=prioritization But since I last asked Polarion support it can still only be called from the tracker table view, not from doc view and not even from Document Table view. Example: /polarion/#/project/drivepilot/workitems?query=type:systemReq...

Re: How to show document properties in the side bar by default?

re: display workitem properties sidebar in doc editor this would need a workitem to be selected in the doc first. you can navigate to a specific workitem in a doc by means of the "Open in Document" button, which has an url like /polarion/#/project/{projectId}/wiki/{spaceId}/{documentID}?se...

Re: Word Round-Trip | Header and Footer | Expand the standard properties set with custom properties

I am afraid "expandable" is only meant as: a variable in the template will be replaced by its value in the exported Word doc.

Re: Unmarked/deleted itmes

Unmarked/deleted items still belong to the container of "their" document until you move them out of the doc or delete them permanently, because they are located under the doc's svn repo path. From the doc UI you can see them only in the doc's recycle bin sidebar. If you navigate from the d...

Re: create a default view for the "MyPolarion" page for every user

Hello Rebecca I have not updated yet. But you can look up the build no. on your installation through the cog wheel menu in the upper left corner. It shows the license details, release etc. The current release ALM 18 has build no. 3.18.0.20180313-2239, so I can only guess from the numbering pattern, ...

Re: Reuse document from a velocity script ?

Hello victorien, please check this comment and following in the thread I mentioned before. AFAIK any changes to data can only be done within a transaction, i.e. ## a transaction must be opened: $transactionService.beginTx() ## then create the new doc: #set ($newDocument = $moduleManager.duplicate($t...

Re: How to apply sorting/ordering in a Lucene query in the Query Browser?

Hello ALMighty, the only ways sorting query results I know of are - in the context of Polarion's wiki macros like {workitems query= ... sortby=} (cf. help page , search in page for "sortable fields") - using the Java API like this: $trackerService.queryWorkItems($query, "~id"), i...

Re: Reuse document from a velocity script ?

Hello victorien

this post has a solution to duplicate a template document into another space using the Wiki API.
Although I am not sure to fully understand your goal - do you want to branch the source document with WI referenced to their source? - it may help.

Re: list of the projects available for the logged in user

Hello yashgolwara, I have not tried to create a webservice for Polarion yet, but maybe the free extension Navigation Panel gives you an idea of the right approach. One of its features: The rendered Tree Structure can be Global or Restricted to a Program Group and filtered by closing a Project Group,...

Re: pdf export: Repeating table headers on new pages

By this discussion I learned that pd4ml (http://pd4ml.com/) is the engine that Polarion uses for Wiki/Document PDF export.

On their support FAQs is a similar question of 2009, may be this is still a restriction.

Another resource to look up: http://pd4ml.com/cookbook/

Re: DocumentWorkflow and #documentPanel

Hello Florian,

the source code is in
C:\Polarion\polarion\plugins\com.polarion.alm.wiki_3.10.2\src\main\webapp\templates\macros.vm
(Path depends on Polarion version: 3.10.2 = 2016SR2)

macro(documentPanel ...) calls
#renderLastApproved($approvedState) in the same file

Re: Create List of Items from Comments Contend

Hello O.Kern, you can build a query in the work item table view: // YOURSERVER /polarion/#/project/ YOURPROJECTID /workitems?query=type:(defect task) AND comments.title:(\-> XYZ) and then either copy the query part of the URL type:(defect task) AND comments.title:(\-> XYZ) from your browser's addres...

Re: Searching for Business requirements with/without linked test cases

Hello Dmalheiro,

on Polarion's demo server you can find a ready made Live Report page Requirements Test Coverage, which shows the number of requirements with and without linked test cases.

Other solutions were posted earlier here
