Re: Save work Items via js-Job

Yes, it's working with a small correction (without the ".class" in the third line): var txService = com.polarion.platform.core.PlatformContext.getPlatform().lookupService(com.polarion.platform.ITransactionService); txService.beginTx(); //whatever changes you are trying to make go here, in ...

Re: Planned In field for Test Runs?

I've just created a custom field
plannedIn
with the Enum
Plan
.
Technically it's not the build-in field but it does the trick - you can select Plans and filter for them.

Save work Items via js-Job

Hi all, I'm using the FMC-Workitem-Save-Extension which is really nice! I've created some jobs and they are running fine. I have a pre-save-script that is calculating a custom currency field depending on the values from backlinked work items. It works fine but only if the respective work item is cha...

Re: Move a project

So, is there a manual workaround?
I can move the Polarion relevant folders from parent folder A to paren folder B directly via SVN.
Would Polarion recognized this change automatically?

Move a project

Hello, I have to move an existing Polarion Project to a new localtion. If I will do this with Polarions "move project" functionality, what exactly will happen? Screenshot.JPG Will polarion move only the Polarion folder (.poalrion, _wiki, modules) or will polarion try to move everthing in t...

Re: Automatically set "Approving User" when creating work it

Hi, I've installed the workitem save extension. The extension itself works fine and I'm able to manipulate and run the scripts. Unfortunately, I have trouble with the "workItem.setApprovals()" method: I get the error "[...]Cannot find function setApprovals.[...]" everytime. Can s...

Automatically set "Approving User" when creating work item

Hello,
is there a possibility to automatically set some "Approving Users" under "Approvals" when creating a work item (i.e. change request)?
I've looked for an "init" action in the workflow designer, but "ChangeField" is only limited to date values.

Re: Changing custom fields in existing work items

Hello Nick, I've tried it once again, but it didn't work either. I've changed the XML file for one work item from [...] <field id="nf_implemented_in_version-number" multi="true" type="enum:sw_version"> <list> <item>numberV3.802</item> </list> </field> [...] to [...] <fi...

Changing custom fields in existing work items

Hello, after using polarion in a project for two years now I'd like to improve some custom fields. The layout we've created in the past isn't very smart, because we have different custom field IDs in different work items defining the same thing, i.e.: Work item type "Defect": <field id=&qu...
