Inappropriate use of 'getRealEntity' / "Failed to store"

Hi All, We've been using the svnimporter2 since its inception but I have encountered a error that I haven't seen before. Below is a subset of the entire log with the "interesting" oddities listed. The full log is ~8MB so to spare your eyes I'm only posting what I believe should be enough i...

Always trust the VI editor to bail you out of a jam. Worked like a charm to get those directives out of there. Still have to pull some image files out to make sure vim saved them correctly but it appears you have accomplished what my boss thought was impossible. My everlasting gratitude goes out to ...

I'll try hunting down an editor that will do the job. (fyi: I tried wordpad and kwrite, not exactly the best options I guess.) I did look at the code it did import and I have to say it looks damn nice! It will be very interesting to see how svn handles repository merging once we get past this minor ...

Looks like the 889 transaction/revision didn't realize the path was already there. I can't modify the dump file manually either, which is a bummer but at least the end is in sight. I know it didn't care for the move action but that didn't seem to phase it. It looks like it somehow missed that the ni...

I think I found the problem, a vss path folder had a rename executed on it. The folder called 'nios2' used to be 'NIOS2'. Rev 768 creates the folders then rev 889 tries to create them again and that causes the load to fail. Is this a direct result of the two action id errors I mentioned in my previo...

Hi Ben, Your latest code is indeed fast as lightning, damn nice work! Everything exported out to a dump file around 160MB instead of 4GB. However, (seems like there is always a -however- in our line of work) when I go to import the dump file it dies at rev 888 out of 1025 due to a existing path givi...

LOL, well it looks like I'll get to test your latest release after all. My hard drive decided it wanted to stop being a good little worker and locked up then started spewing errors galore. Managed to get a image of it before it completely died so now I have 10 GB more space so now I'll be able to co...

Hi Ben, That's good news that having the vss server go offline didn't foul it up. The extract is still running and I think I'll try and let it complete. We are approaching a 4GB file so around 300 MB of info has been added since it hit the "adding dummy ... to /" message. Based on the numb...

Hey Ben, When does the app close it's connections to the VSS repository? My current run doesn't have any open files to our vss db server. I will continue to monitor the db file size to see if the app is still writing to it but thought I'd ask to see if that is some sort of indication of it coming to...

The vss history screen for the project shows 95 items (mostly labels and some files) are applicable to the top level folder for that project. I didn't do recursive since the exporter already did the project subfolders and should only be doing the top level's tags and what not...is that a correct ass...

Hi Ben, Would you have any kind of guess of how long the task identified by the message below and any subsequent tasks will take? Over the course of 4 days it has added about 60MB of data to the db file. Since I started the process on 11/13 it has added around 200MB of data after hitting the message...

Hi Ben, It is still adding info to the db file, slowly but surely. In 2 minutes it added 379KB of data to the db file. So it is still moving along so as long as I see the file size growing I will assume all is well and leave it alone. However, I am going to venture to guess that the sorting/fixing o...

Hi Ben, Well your latest snapshot flew until it hit the end of the last project where it is now stuck on the message: " Adding tag dummy relations for tags defined on '/' ... " It has sat on that message overnight thus far. Strange that it would fly through all the other projects at that l...
