Polarion 2012 vs Polarion 2011

From looking at the videos for Polarion 2012, it gives an impression that it is radically different than Polarion 2011.

How much effort will it take to convert from 2011 to 2012 version? What's the necessary steps for a upgrade from Polarion 2011 to Polarion 2012?

Thanks.

Re: Polarion 2011 Requirement Document Export Issue

I figured out the problem. When copying requirement text from MS Word document, the formatting caused Polarion not to export correctly. Once the format is cleared then the export will work correctly.

Polarion 2011 Requirement Document Export Issue

Hi, Have you experience in Polarion 2011 errors with exporting requirements from a Polarion Document (i.e. Live Document)? When I exported as a MS Word document the requirements' text do not display. It only displays a requirement id and the status of Normal. When I exported as a PDF, the requiremen...

Re: Query for workitems with dedicated linked WI types

I am not quite sure I understand your question.

But, tried the following query string (it is case sensitive):
linkedWorkItems:<WI_ID> AND resolution:CR AND type:changerequest

Re: DocumentsManager Question

And also does anyone knows what are the differences between a IDocumentsManager and a IModuleManager? And how do they relate to wiki page and Polarion documents.

Thank you.

Polarion Failed to Display Certain Work Items

Polarion failed to display several workitems in the query window. I have attached an image showing the error. Note: I have cleared the requirement text and replaced it with the text "something" so I won't get in trouble with my company. I tried to compare the workitem that failed to displa...

Yes you can create comments over webservice. Check out the API under Tracker Service. I am not sure if you can set the author though.

Re: Polarion Update Failure

I was not able to update some of the custom fields. After some playing around, I realized that if a field is not initialized, when a work item's fields are retrieved then they are not in the list. You can add the items to the list, if they do not exists already. I was also able to figure out how to ...
