Have you downloaded the workflow-internal.xml file to your local tracker folder? This is the file which makes the workflow work, the files you've written are just a convenient abstraction which the server processes into workflow-internal.xml for you.

* Is is possible to extend the hyperlink type to include a category field? What do you mean with category? Link type/role is a category, isn't it? Sorry, I meant "attachment", not hyperlink. Given the way attachments are stored at present (dumped in the folder and enumerated at runtime), t...

FastTrack uses OSWorkflow

Aside from the help file, which details the available options for custom fields, it's helpful to know that the workflow component of FastTrack is OSWorkflow 2.7 OSWorkflow Documentation Even if you author your own workflow.xml, I couldn't get the standalone FastTrack client to convert this into the ...

Network access to repo via file:// not considered safe

Accessing a repository via file:// over a network is not advisable, especially if it's a BDB repo. Network filesystems are not especially consistent about how they implement locking. You are advised to either use svnserve or mod_dav_svn for networked repo access. There are a bunch of reasons that Vi...

Loading classes outside of FastTrack for Condition, etc

I've been trying to write my own Condition classes to integrate into the workflow, and I'd quite like my own Function and Validator classes as well. I wrote a simple HelloCondition which just logs some output and returns false, but I can't seem to get FastTrack/OSWorkflow to load the class. I edited...

Custom WorkItem questions.

I have some questions about customizing workitems. * Can you define and use your own struct types for custom fields? * Can you use existing struct types for custom fields? * Can you define custom fields as lists (like the hyperlink field)? * Is is possible to extend the hyperlink type to include a c...

Mylar with FastTrack

You'd need a connector for Mylar that supports FastTrack as opposed to the existing connectors for Trac, Bugzilla and JIRA connectors.

Not sure how easy this would be since the FastTrack UI is not browser based like the others mentioned here, but the actual work item data is very simple.

You're welcome

Sorry about the whitespace, that's because of the way the forum renders code, and you can't post attachments. It's supposed to be one space followed by one tab for each four spaces.

I'm glad someone got some use out of the code, because we're probably not going to need it!

I wrote a patch for this (based on some earlier patch work)

The patch appears in another thread... http://forums.polarion.org/viewtopic.php?t=1148&start=24 Copy the text, write it to a file ("patch.diff") and either use TortoiseSVNs patch facility or GNU patch on a working copy of the source code from the Polarion SVN repo. This should resolve ...

What would be deeply helpful would be a set of annotated schemas or similar documentation for the files used by FastTrack, like workflow.xml, workflow-internal.xml, etc. There is plenty of documentation on how to use the Polarion server to configure these files, but nothing I can find documenting th...

FIXED - FastTrack not compatible with Windows authentication

If you use FastTrack with a repository running on Apache/Windows, using mod_sspi for authentication, you can succesfully share the tracker project into the respository, but you cannot subsequently create a WorkItem as it produces the exception below. This is due to the presence of the backslash char...

Is your dump file still hanging around? By default it ends up in the svnimporter folder (if you run it from there.)

Path case not relevant here

The error is occuring within svnadmin load, not within the filesystem. Even if it's on Windows, the SVN repo still behaves like a Unix filesystem and is case sensitive. It can cause problems when renaming files to different case variants of themselves (but not if your client tool is aware of the pro...
