Oh - I've found it!

It gets saved and is available from the drop-down called "Choose a previously entered comment or template".

I did not understand that from your previous answer - I need to clean my glasses.

Hello Alexander I'm afraid this is not the case. After a commit fails, it is usually because you have to do something else - an update or a merge - before committing. After you do these other things, the commit comment is lost. I have not been able to test whether it is lost before you do the update...

I would like this, too. I now habitually copy the comment to my clipboard before committing, just in case ...

Errors when using FastTrack with Eclipse 3.2.1

I'm getting an error saying that I need org.polarion.team.svn.core (1.0.2) or equivalent for FastTrack to work. I've installed FastTrack_1.0.0-LocalUpdateSite.zip I'm using Eclipse 3.2.1 with WTP (Web Tools). I also have Subversive SVN Team Provider 1.1.0.M9a installed - I think this is the problem ...

Feature request: Viewing early revisions

Instead of moving a file in Eclipse, I copied it to a new location in my file system (Windows) and then deleted the original. After refreshing Eclipse, I committed these changes. Now the resource history is broken - if I ask for the resource history of my file, it stops at the point that I made the ...

Hi Igor I'm experiencing the same problem and I don't understand how to use your solution. I have 600 Java files that need svn:keywords set and I don't know how to do it. They are in a hierarchy with 50 sub(sub(sub))folders so doing it one file at a time will be very time-consuming. Also, I cannot d...

Thanks Igor - RC1a fixes the deleted projects dialog issue.

The other issue turns out to be that the file was locked. I discovered this by doing 'svn info <file>' on the command line. After unlocking it, the file updates correctly and disappears from the Synchronize view. Problem solved.

"Update" asks about deleted projects

I updated Subversive to 1.0.0.RC1 yesterday and now have a strange effect when updating my working copy (whether I update the entire project or just a single file). I get a dialog popping up with the title "Select Projects" and subtitle "Select projects that will be deleted. All proje...

Client credentials caching (HTTPS)

I am using Windows XP but the principles should apply to any operating system. When using https (or svn+ssh) protocols, Subversion caches client credentials in [%APPDATA%\Subversion\auth\svn.*] where %APPDATA% is, for example, [Documents and Settings\Me\Application Data]. If there are no credentials...

Hallo Igor Excellent - the problem is solved! As soon as I switched on Report revision change for folders , I could see all the updates that I missed. I was not updating the entire project because I was not feeling very comfortable about what I would be updating (I still don't know what was updated ...

Hi Igor Wow. This test has revealed some interesting things for me. Thanks for the explanations. Unfortunately, it has also shown problems with Subversion and Subversive. Firstly the bit that works. I did the test you described and the URLs are exactly the same, so this is not a problem. I then test...

I found it as well (see Fix published in MS12 "release notes" not working) and I'm still waiting for a reply. I'm glad that it was not just my system ;-)

Sorry that my title was not so obvious.
